Request a Demo / QuoteHigh-Density RTP Traffic Generator and Emulator for IP and Wireless Networks
The MAPS™ High Density RTP media generator enables high-volume call emulation with RTP traffic and optional signaling. It supports various communication protocols across IP and Wireless networks. With additional licensing, MAPS™ HD RTP can emulate SIP, GSM A, BICC, MGCP, H.248/MEGACO and assess voice quality using the E-model (R-factor) and MOS across five scales. This appliance supports up to 64,000 simultaneous calls per unit (8,000 RTP media sessions per port). By stacking multiple servers, it can scale to 100K–200K calls, making it ideal for enterprise to carrier-grade testing.
High-Density Ethernet Network Monitoring
GL’s PacketScan™ HD is an Ethernet monitoring device designed for high-density network analysis. Equipped with specialized network interface cards, ample storage capacity, and advanced protocol analysis software, it captures and decodes all Voice over IP (VoIP) and Wireless protocols over IP. This capability is invaluable for troubleshooting network issues and investigating security incidents. Additionally, users can conduct lossless packet capture, analyze high-speed networks, and manage high-volume simultaneous calls with bidirectional RTP traffic seamlessly.
High-Density Call Emulation and Analysis over SONET/SDH
GL's SonetExpert™ Channelized Analyzer comprises of hardware and software for capturing, monitoring, simulating, and analyzing protocols over SONET-SDH links. SonetExpert™ analyzer along with SFP+ based optical ports supports Channelized SONET and SDH mapping of T1/E1 payload. In this mode, SonetExpert™ supports direct access to all 336 T1 or 252 E1 channels on an OC-12/STM-4 line for analysis and simulation – all within a single PC. Its main advantage is that any of the T1/E1 or DS0 test requirements can be met without resorting to electrical access and time-consuming cable and setup.
High Density Call Emulation and Call Analysis over TDM
MAPS™ SS7 (Signaling System No. 7)
MAPS™ SS7 is an advanced protocol emulator and tester designed for SS7 emulation over TDM (T1 or E1) networks. It can emulate Service Switching Points (SSPs) and supports testing network elements, error tracking, regression testing, conformance testing, load testing, and the generation of high volumes of ISUP traffic. The application covers both ITU and ANSI variants of SS7, implementing MTP2, MTP3, and ISUP protocols.
GL also offers SS7 Protocol Analyzer that captures and decodes signaling in real-time, both during tests and as a standalone tracer for live systems.
MAPS™ ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network)
MAPS™ ISDN is a protocol emulation and conformance test tool that supports the emulation of ISDN signaling over TDM interfaces. It is designed for testing network elements, error tracking, regression testing, conformance testing, and load testing. The application supports various ISDN protocols and variants, providing a comprehensive solution for ISDN network testing.
GL also offers ISDN Protocol Analyzer that captures and analyzes frame streams on an ISDN PRI link.
MAPS™ CAS (Channel Associated Signaling)
MAPS™ CAS is a protocol emulation and conformance test tool that supports the emulation of CAS protocols over TDM networks. Designed to work with CAS signaling and handle TDM traffic over T1 or E1 networks, it simplifies testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining devices and networks using CAS signaling. The tool automates testing with preloaded scripts for making and receiving calls. Calls are established by sending or detecting signaling information like signaling bits, DTMF/MF digits, or tones.
GL also offers CAS Protocol Analyzer which supports real-time monitoring and decoding of CAS signaling events over T1 E1 networks.
High Density Call Emulation and Call Analysis over Analog
MAPS™ Analog Phone Simulator is a powerful tool used to test telecom equipment like Central Offices, PBXs, Telephone Adapters, and Gateways. It is a bulk call generator for Analog 2-Wire FXO/FXS or 4-Wire E&M systems. The solution includes server hardware, GL MAPS™ software, channel banks, and optional modules for Fax Emulation and Voice Quality Testing in a compact rackmount system. The system supports up to 96 independent FXO or FXS ports per 1U server. For larger testing needs, the system can be expanded with a 4U server and 2 Octal T1/E1 cards, allowing support for up to 384 analog ports.
