Miscellaneous Software
Speech Transcription Server
GL’s Speech Transcription Server is a PC-based automated speech-to-text conversion application. Among numerous applications, the Speech Transcription Server can be used for confirming voice prompts (announcements) and aid in testing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems as well as voice transportation over any network. Network providers use the application to record the voice prompts associated with the IVR, perform a Speech to Text conversion on the recording to confirm the prompt was proper (based on what the prompt should be), and thus confirming their IVR functioning. The application can be used to verify network quality as well as effect of different codecs on the speech quality.

Audio File Conversion Utility (AFCU)
GL’s Audio File Conversion Utility (Audio FCU) is generally used in conjunction with GL Packet Series products to further enhance send and record voice file capabilities. This utility supports almost all industry standard Voice Codecs data formats, that helps to convert recorded voice files from their native codec format to a GL standard format. This enhances the applications’ ability to send/receive voice files at a higher density with multiple codecs option.
The utility also helps convert raw linear voice files/wave files from an Intel voice data format to a compressed GL Proprietary transmission format (*.glw) and vice versa.
For more information, visit Audio File Conversion Utility webpage.
HDL File Conversion Utility
GL's HDL File Conversion Utility converts a file from Ethereal format files (PCAP, CAP, and PCAPNG) to GL proprietary file format (HDL) and vice-versa. The application can automatically detect the format of the source PCAP file whether it is captured on Linux or Windows® and converts accordingly to HDL file. This utility is available in all analyzer applications such as T1E1, T3E3, LightSpeed1000™ and PacketScan™.
For more information, visit HDL File Conversion Utility webpage.
Audio Processing Utility
Audio processing utility is a pre-processing application used for manipulating the input audio (tones, and voice) files with impairments such as delay, noise, acoustic echo, line echo, and double talk. An echo file is generated if a corresponding line or acoustic echo filter is specified. It analyzes the given coefficients files and calculates the applied delay & ERL. The degraded audio output file can then be visually analyzed or used for further speech analysis with GL’s Voice Quality Testing, Digital Echo Canceller & other applications.

DCME Test and Analysis
GL's DCME Analyzer is ideal for DCME testing, analysis, and verification. The DCME Analyzer connects non-intrusively to the bearer side of DCME equipment. Both real-time and post-processing of the bearer signal is possible. In real-time mode, the status of the bearer including synchronization, bearer loading, fax loading and other statistics are easily monitored. In post processing mode, the entire DCME bearer signal is captured to the PC's hard disk, so the captured file can then be post-analyzed. The data can be displayed to permit bit level analysis and verification of channel mapping and implementation timing of the DCME protocol.
For more information, visit DCME Analyzer webpage.
Realtime Multi-Channel Audio Driver
GL's Audio Driver allows almost any software which normally sends/receives sound to/from a sound card, to redirect the audio streams to/from timeslots on a T1 or E1 line. The Audio Driver is an optional piece of software for GL's T1 and E1 cards and works with any sound software such as Cool Edit, Cool Edit Pro, Windows Media Player, etc.

LightSpeed1000™ Development Toolkit
GL's Application Development Toolkit provides application programming interface (API) for custom LightSpeed1000™ - OC-3/12 and STM-1/4 Analysis & Emulation software development for Linux Operating System.
For more information, visit LightSpeed1000™ webpage.
Goldwave Software
GoldWave is a sound editor, player, recorder, analyzer, and converter. Goldwave is third party software that is used with many GL'sProducts. It allows listening, viewing, and analysis of single or dual recorded files from T1 and E1 lines. It also permits sophisticated editing of voice files.
For more information, visit Goldwave webpage.
Adobe Audition Software
Adobe Audition is an auxiliary (shareware) program that is useful with many GL Products and software. It allows listening, viewing, and analysis of single or dual timeslot recorded files from T1 and E1 lines. It also permits sophisticated editing of voice files. Adobe Audition can also be used to view real time signals with GL's PCI T1 and E1 cards (View Real time Signals).
For more information, visit Multitrack Sound File Viewing & Editing Software webpage.
File Edit Software
File Edit is an auxiliary (shareware) program that is useful with many GL Products and software. It allows viewing and analysis of any file in binary format. This is useful for editing and viewing recorded files from T1 and E1 lines.
