GL Introduces T1/E1 Analysis Software Ver 4.80 with New Applications and Enhancements
Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - December 22, 2004 - GL Communications Inc, today announced the release of the T1/E1 Analysis Software version 4.80 with new and enhanced applications.
GL Communications is continuously striving to update its products to serve the changing requirements of the telecommunication industry. The enhanced applications in T1/E1 software as announced today includes utilities such as Automated Record Playback, Tx-Rx File utility, Windows Client Server, Call Capture Analysis, Digital Echo Canceller, GPRS, SS7, and TRAU Analyzer.
Real-time Bitmap application is among the new applications introduced; this software that allows a graphical view of complete multiframe as a real-time bitmap. The application renders a pixel map with 'zeros' represented by white dots and 'ones' represented by black dots.
Automated Record Playback and Tx/Rx utilities enhance recording and playback features by providing automation (scripting) capability. Other new features include automated transmission/capturing of T1/E1 streams and sub-channel transmission features.
Windows Client Server (WCS) application has been enhanced with the addition of task operators for "active speech level", "noise level", "speech activity", and "echo canceller" measurement algorithms.
Call Capture Analysis (CCA) application has been enhanced to support automatic digit parsing and analysis on CAS based signaling protocols. As a result calls are captured with "called" and "calling" numbers identified in the captured filenames. This application in conjunction with the Call Management Utility (CMU) provides a powerful real-time tool for monitoring calls.
Digital Echo Canceller (DEC) has been enhanced such that impulse response parameters of a hybrid being monitored can be easily extracted and used to model the exact same hybrid in the Lab using the Delay/Attenuate software application.
GPRS Analyzer now has been designed to accommodate IP Packet reassembly.
SS7 Analyzer facilitates connection to remote billing systems along with "call trace" features to accommodate billing duration, redirection counter, Carrier CIC and others.
TRAU Analyzer permits listening to live calls, allows easy interpretation of uplink and downlink traffic, filtering, and accurate time stamping.
