Overview

GL's Communication Traffic Recorder & Protocol Analyzer test suite includes advanced testing, analysis, & emulation capabilities of almost all standard protocols over T1/E1, T3/E3, and VoIP. The test suite comprises of the following hardware to interfaces with Wireless, and TDM networks of data rates 34 Mbps (E3), 2.048 Mbps (E1), and 1.544 Mbps (T1) -

  • Advanced search & filtering abilities to drill through the capture for the required frames
  • Filtering of the frames can be performed during real-time capture as well as on the pre-captured files
  • Numerous statistics can be obtained to study the performance and trend in the network
  • Graphically analyze captured traffic using wave graph, spectral display, and/or using other shareware such as Adobe Audition, and Goldwave

Applications

  • Can be used as independent standalone units as "probes" integrated in a network surveillance systems
  • Triggering, collecting and filtering for unique subscriber information and relaying such information to a back end processor
  • Collecting Call Detail Records (CDR) information for billing

USB based T1/E1 Analyzer

GL's new USB based T1 E1 Analyzer is the world's most powerful, full featured, and complete BERT, voiceband, data, signaling, and protocol analyzer on the market. It can perform analysis and emulation of various signal types including voice, digits, and tones; various protocols including HDLC, ISDN, SS7, CAS, Frame Relay, GSM, GPRS, CDMA, and UMTS. It is capable of T1 or E1 PCM signal visualization, capture, storage, analysis, and emulation. In addition, convenient features are available like portability, USB friendly interface to a PC, remote control, and scripting. USB based T3/E3 Analyzer

GL's T3 (DS3) /E3, T1/E1 and Ethernet analysis platform is one of the smallest and lightest unit with dual data stream capture capability. The pod when connected to a Notebook PC is capable of capturing two full T3 / E3 data streams, dropping and inserting T1 or E1, full Ethernet analysis, and HDLC, ATM, FR, and PPP Analysis.
